Field Trips

Field trip at Chepachet aren't just for schools! We cater to tour groups as well as senior groups and our field trips are offered year round. Fall is our busiest season, with our famous pumpkin picking and foliage tours available.

All field trips are centered around your particular interests and needs. A typical trip to the farm would consist of a horse-drawn hayride, an agricultural, horticultural or environmental activity, depending on the time of year and a tour of the maple sugar house, complete with samples.


Your group is welcome to bring lunch or snacks to enjoy at the picnic area, near the campfire (great for roasting marshmallows). On chilly or overcast days, enjoy our cozy room off of the barn, complete with a wood-burning stove. We provide beverages, which change with the season.

What trip to the farm would be complete without feeding our friends in the petting zoo?

A typical field trip is approximately an hour and a half and is priced accordingly. We do require a 15 person minimum. The maximum number depends on the type of tour requested. Field trips are scheduled in advance and we offer them 7 days a week. We will only accommodate one group at a time, so we ask that you schedule your field trip well in advance, so we can accommodate all your needs.
